One of the very popular dishes which you can get in Hyderabad, India.
All the ingredients are very easy to find. Only thing you cannot find easily is curry leaves. You can find this mostly in any India stores.
Also, it is very easy to make.
Try this simple recipe for chicken starter or snack.

Ingredients:

Part 1: Chicken

  1. Chicken 250-300 grams
  2. Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tea spoon
  3. Corn flour – 5 table spoon
  4. Pepper – 1/2 tea spoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 small egg

Part 2: Sauce

  1. Chopped garlic – 1 tea spoon
  2. Curry leaves – 15 leaves
  3. Yogurt/Curd – half cup
  4. Chilli powder – 1 tea spoon
  5. 4 green chillies slit (leave this if you don’t eat too much spice)
  6. Cumin powder – 1/2 tea spoon
  7. Coriander powder – 1/2 tea spoon
  8. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tea spoon
  9. Coriander leaves

Method:

Part 1: Chicken

Clean the chicken breast and cut into thin strips.
Put in a bowl and marinate with ginger garlic paste, corn flour, pepper, salt and egg.
Now, deep fry the chicken in the oil and keep them on the kitchen towel to remove excess oil.

Part 2: Sauce

Put some oil in the pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil is hot put chopped garlic and fry till the raw flavour of garlic is gone. Now add turmeric, curry leaves, green chilli and fry them for 30 seconds.
Now add yogurt, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and fry for 2-3 min. Final step is to add chicken to the sauce on high heat mix well and cook for further 1 min and serve hot.
Top up with fresh leaves of coriander.

Note:

  1. You can add all purpose flour instead of corn flour or mix of both.
